USGA Museum Tour & Putting Contest

Sure, you love the game of golf but how much do you know about it? And could you have played just as well with the equipment used at the turn of the 20th Century? You’ll find out if you join the Metro Golf Committee for a guided tour of the U.S. Golf Association’s Golf Museum, followed by a special putting contest. You’ll visit the Museum’s Hall of Champions, which includes displays of some of golf’s greatest stars and learn about the history of golf…and golf impacted history. Then, you can compete in a special putting contest designed to bring you back what it would have been like to putt at Saint Andrews in Scotland in the late 1800s or early 1900s.  The greens are similar to what was at Saint Andrews and the balls and putters are replicas of what was used then. Think you’ll still be able to two-putt?  Pizza and beer follows at Trattoria Bolu.  Reserve your space now!
