DESCRIPTION:Join us on May 27th for our PWB meeting.\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\nAfter introductions and a business meeting\, we will present a Panel Discussion regarding opportunities and successes as well as challenges faced by women in the Construction Industry.\n\n \n\nOur panelists are:\n\nAndrea Lomonaco   Wells Fargo Home Mortgage\n\nTammy Murray   Andersen Windows and Doors\n\nKaren Adamsbaum - The John Morgan LcLachlan Agency\, Inc.\n\n \n\nThey will each share an experience or two with us and then we will open it up to discussion\, questions and comments from the attendees.\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\nAndrea Lomonaco\n\nI currently work for Wells Fargo with 15+ years' experience in the mortgage industry. I am an experienced Private Mortgage Banker with a demonstrated history of working with high net worth clientele with complex income.  I'm skilled in negotiation\, banking\, sales\, entrepreneurship\, and public speaking.\n\n\n\nI'm an avid reader\, baker\, mud runner\, and love to volunteer with the Madison Rotary and through the opportunities presented to me at Wells Fargo.\n\n\n\n\n\nTammy Murray\n\nTammy has been employed by Andersen Corporation\, the leading manufacturer of windows and doors in North America for 7   years. In Tammy's current role\, she is a Market Development Manager\, covering the Mid-Atlantic States. Tammy's primary responsibility is to develop Andersen's market share through the corporate business plans and initiatives within the assigned region. Tammy is responsible for working with various Andersen territory reps and dealer partners by driving the overall sales process with an overall goal to drive account retention and growth.\n\n\n\nPrior to Andersen\, Tammy was employed by an Award-Winning rep agency on the decorative side of the building products industry for 7 years. Tammy sold decorative plumbing\, door hardware\, and other products to independent dealers and Ferguson NJ locations. Tammy is excited to be a contributing member of Metro Builders Associations Board of Directors\, Chairwoman for the Metro 2021 Awards of Excellence and honored to be a part of this panel for the Professional Women in Building for Metro!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nKaren Adamsbaum\, CIC\n\nKaren is a partner of the John Morgan McLachlan Agency\, Inc. which offers commercial lines\, personal lines\, excess & surplus / specialty insurance\,  claims management\, strategic partnerships and member solutions.  \n\n \n\nKaren joined the John Morgan McLachlan Agency in 2010.  She has over 17 years of management and hands-on experience in all phases of Risk Management\, Operations\, Finance\, Marketing and Technology. \n\n \n\nWhen working with a client her goal is to provide the best Risk Management solution that will meet their needs. In 2012 she received the professional CIC designation as Certified Insurance Counselor\, and is currently studying to obtain her AAI (Accredited Advisor of Insurance)\, and AAIM ( Accredited Advisor of Insurance Management).  Her views on educating others about insurance whether they are her clients or not\, is important.  The platforms in which she educates others is LinkedIn\, YouTube and has a podcast called "Risk Intelligence" which can be found on iTunes\, Spotify\, Google and AnchorFM. \n\n \n\nKaren is currently a member of the District XIII Ethics Committee\, serves as a Board of Director for the Metropolitan Builders and Contractors Association\,  as well as very active in several community focus groups.   Her other interests include playing golf\, guitar\, traveling and long distance road biking.  She has been married for 28 years to her husband David.
